So! I've reactivated my account and hid all of my old stuff solely to showcase all of the new stuff that will be featured here from here on out.  What I'm REALLY anxious to share, however, is a project that is very, very close to my heart.  

DragonBall Z was one of the first anime I ever saw on television.  Up until that point, I had only really seen and enjoyed Sailor Moon (like every eight-year-old girl did at the time, I imagine.) I remember my little brother being very into it when we were young, but it wasn't until I was about ten or eleven that I actually sat down and watched an episode.  And it was love at first sight.

Then, the Internet happened.  Or rather, the Internet suddenly became available in my own home.  Suddenly, I could find and connect with other people I could discuss DragonBall Z with!  And the information about the show that suddenly became available to me -- I still get kind of dizzy when I recall that feeling.  

Then one day, I happened upon an image of a familiar-looking blue-haired girl in various DBGT screencaps.  DragonBall GT was not being aired in my country at the time, so any questions I had about who this girl went unanswered for a long time.  I don't recall exactly how I was led here, but I came across a Bra fansite that had tons of information, pictures, fanart, fanfiction, etc.  Suddenly all of my questions were answered.  Bra was the daughter of my two favorite characters!  How could she NOT be featured in more episodes?!  

It wasn't long after that when I began shipping Bra and Goten.  Like I'm sure a lot of other fangirls will tell you, I can't exactly explain what drew me to this pairing and why.  I can run of an entire list of fandon-based reasons why I think they SHOULD be together, but beyond that, nothing really cements these two characters together aside from fanart and fanfiction.  Bra and Goten have been, and will probably always be, my One True Pairing.  

I'm almost twenty-five years old now, and my enthusiasm about this pairing has not ceased even a little in the years that have passed.  

Basically... I love Bra and Goten.  And I want you to love them, too!

These Daydreams, Okay! is a Bra and Goten fanfiction written by one of my oldest and dearest ladyfriends, Missy.  She and I crossed paths while haunting the aforementioned Bra character shrine, and she has been a dear friend ever since.  She wrote this fanfiction not too long ago herself, as a sort of homage to her own unique fandom of Bra and Goten, I imagine; after reading it, I knew I had to share this with everyone who would care to read along.  So I asked her permission to draw a fancomic based on her work, and she said yes.  

Now, almost three years after her story was completed, I'm ready to draw.  I'm ready to draw as a gift to her, for inspiring such creativity in me to be able to take on this project.  I'm ready to draw as a long-time DragonBall fan, and as a long-time Bra and Goten fan paying her own tribute to them.  And I encourage anyone who wants to, to stick around, because I'm just getting warmed up!
